Ease yourself into the day with expanding, energizing and soothing yoga postures. Salute the Sun to access your storehouse of vitality and align with the day. Balance with blissful breathing practices and some moments of inner silence. Leave with an inspirational theme to take yoga off the mat and into your festival day.

This class will be an experiential and integral yoga practice including Hatha Yoga for the body and energy system, Pranayama Breathing Practices to balance the nervous system and a short Meditation to focus the mind.

Be guided to ease into the day with expanding, energising and soothing yoga postures. Salute the Sun to access your storehouse of vitality and align with the day. Soothe the nervous system and balance with breathing practices and end by sitting in a few moments of inner silence.

Students will experience an approach to yoga postures that allows them to adjust to their own needs, including safety tips in practice, encouragement to work at their own pace, options for varying health needs. The approach will inspire them into personal practice as well as give them tools to bring yoga capsules into their daily life with a theme imparted such as equanimity, simplicity, generosity, contentment to bring yoga off the mat and into daily life.

Presenter Bio:

Anahata Yoga Retreat, the heart centre, is a residential yoga retreat focused on taking yoga off the mat and into each moment of life. Anahata representatives including Swami Karma Karuna, Sannyasin Atmabhava and other trained teachers share an integral style of yoga, linked to wisdom sourced from ancient teachings merged with a practical scientific approach.
