Influenced by sampling culture and the roots of modern dance music, Mat Hoods has been expanding his knowledge and record collection since the mid nineties, playing regular sets at events in Manchester, Leeds and London.
DJ sets draw on influence of underground disco, basement jams and outdoor parties full of energy and movement. Afrobeat to Disco to House to Soul, its all about the rhythm and groove. In the chill Lunge Mat will be the alchemist of a chilled mixed genre set with Balearic, Downtempo, Ambient, Chill, House, Afrobeat, Latin, Brazilian, Soul, Dub and more.
