Yoga with Awakening Unity
In this yoga workshop your focus will be guided towards your breath and body awareness. You will move through poses that are both reinvigorating and restorative while at the same time there will opportunity for a deep journey of transformation physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Using empathy and intuition, knowledge & experience, I address specific needs of the individual as well as the class as a whole. I invite students to develop a quality of observation that is nonjudgmental and equanimous which I believe is the first step toward transformation. My yoga classes are highly influenced by my studies of Classical Tantra, following my teacher Christopher Wallis.
Yoga has been a wonderful tool on my journey navigating through life since 13 years. I have been introduced to yoga through the philosophical studies of scriptures in India and then completed my first Yoga TT in Nepal in 2008. Over many years I have been teaching Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Restorative Vinyasa, Power Yoga. I have been teaching at Bayyoga Studio as well as Women retreats and festivals around New Zealand.
