ReSource! – Embodied Skills for Living the Great Turning
100% experiential and embodied. This workshop is co-facilitated by Inna Alex and Jaime Howell. It will involve 2-3 participatory processes from Joanna Macy’s “Work that Reconnects” interwoven and empowered by Open Floor movement practices, e.g. group and partner exercises, movement explorations, and guided meditation.
There is a deep need to be resourced to navigate these changing times well. This is the work of the Great Turning. The exercises offered connect us more deeply with ourselves, each other and all life on Earth, and ground and strengthen our longing and capacity to partake in the healing of our world.
Open Floor and Work That Reconnects (WTR) offer an essential tool kit for living the Great Turning. Open Floor inspires us to move well with change in our bodies through guided movements. WTR opens our hearts and minds to the love and the grief we feel for our world, empowering us to act on behalf of Earth.
Jaime Howell is an Open Floor conscious movement teacher and Director of Opening Minds, an organisation dedicated to nourishing the seeds of wisdom and compassion.
