Why Qi Gong? - Ana Raunigg
Session 1 addresses the purpose of qi gong practice, the strengths and differences of Zhineng Qi Gong practice, and why Chinese culture insists that physical wellness as well as wellbeing are important aspects of a Wisdom System (Ren Xue). We will learn the four supplementary exercises for self-healing and qi improvement.
Session 2 addresses the idea of practice within a qi field and how to attract qi and anchor it in the body. We will learn two of the four main basic exercises and practice them together, if space permits. If space allocation is unsuitable to big movements, we will practice small movements, emphasizing our use of consciousness; we also will look at using qi consciousness in everyday life.
Suitable for adults only
Ana Raunigg is a level three teacher of Zhineng Qi Gong. She has been teaching weekly classes in Golden Bay for ten years.
