This year Ryan brings us workshops on:
Tech Poi 101
Focus on the basics of technical spinning. We will teaching planes, timing, direction as the foundation. Upon this we will go over some basics stalls, pendulums and extensions. We will also consider many tips and tricks used to help accelerate the learning process and greatly refine your skills.
Tech Poi 102
Building patterns from smaller, atomic movements. We will also consider transition theory, and how it can be used to seamlessly move from one pattern to another. Performance health, including warm-up and warm-down exercises will also be discussed and demonstrated.
Single and multi-ball contact juggling
Focus on posture, finger strength and flexibility exercises, basic warm-up and warm-down exercises, as well as a range of single ball contact juggling moves, as well as multi-ball patterns and transitions. The aim will be to provide a solid foundation that instills in the antendees good practices, habits, as well as a wealth of resources to learn more.
