New to Luminate 2013 we are excited to add Mondo to the JPTZ crew. A multi- talented artist and hooper Mondo has been playing hula hoop for 2 ½ years, and been involved in fire performance for nearly 2. She has performed in front of many differing crowds from family festivals to urban music events and everything in between.

'Best New Comer' at the Kiwiburn Fire Idol (KIwiburn 2012), Benji is an amazing performer who still remembers what its like to be a beginner. He prides himself on being still able to explain the beginners tricks in a way that can be understood and unintimidating.

Beth is a talented Juggler, teacher and performer and has been involved in renegade shows at both Under the Spinfluence and Heat festival. She recently demonstrated at the Auckland Waitakere festival and is both performing and running adagio workshops with Circus Kumarani at Prana festival over New Years.

Brand new for Luminate 2013 - Rhythmsticks! Taught by Mark he will cover all aspects of basic through to advanced technique. Each workshop will interlink with the previous workshop. Workshops will start with all participants at a basic level. Mat returns to Luminate for the third time  in 2013. Mat has taught workshops and performed a range of other festivals in cluding Circulation (NZ), RNV (NZ), Kiwiburn (NZ). The FireBugs are a Dunedin based performance group that uses a variety of manipulation, circus arts and fire performance to create shows to enthrall. They will be returning for their 3rd year at Luminate Festival after winning Best Outdoor show at the Dunedin Fringe Festival.
