Kidz are most welcome at Luminate!

When we say that the Luminate Festival is Kidz friendly, we mean much more than just 'allowing' Kids to be there with their parents... We actually try to make the event a memorable experience for all the children who come and to support their parents to enjoy being there with them.

At all the previous Festivals, Luminate has proven to be a heaven for kids! There is no doubt that this one will be no exception. The site is ideally suited for them to tear around on their bikes with their friends, to run about safely and chill out with their parents in a healthy and safe, community creating environment...

The 'village market' is the scene where lots of these activities especially designed for the children start from. So, while the parents relax, savor a pizza or drink a coffee, the children can safely socialize together, explore and learn...There are many riveting story telling sessions and puppet shows to capture their attention and stimulate their creativity...

Every morning, there is a dedicated 'Kidz Time' at the Juggle Poi Toi Zone where they can learn all those new circus games that are such good fun and great to develop good coordination, confidence and new physical skills...

The 'Chill Zone' is a place we designed to socialize and relax, play or take a nap... or to find a snack or a healthy treat to eat.

And we have planned workshops in the Healing Hub and in the Tribal Zone especially for kids, such as sessions to introduce them to fun yoga, to learn drumming or African songs, to discover all sorts of dancing and moving or listen to world wide stories.

Some sessions have been set up to foster special connecting time with their parents like learning Shiatsu massage.

And soon after sundown, children will discover the thrill of the magnificent fire shows, offered every night, by a team of international circus quality jugglers, acrobats and dancers. You can be sure that the atmosphere will be one to create beautiful memories for a lifetime...

Bring their bicycles and balls, their glow in the dark toys and their favorite costumes, if they want...
