Since exploding onto the scene with his seminal début track "Music is My Weapon", Steve Young aka Hedflux has firmly established a fresh and distinctive flavour of psychedelic tech-funk. Crafting together elements from breaks, techno, and psytrance, the result is a genre-bending fusion of deep driving bass grooves, twisted glitchy noodles and resonant synth sorcery.

Steve joined Broken Robot Records in early 2009 and has enjoyed increasingly high profile gigs at festivals such as Glade, Waveform, as well as headlining at numerous club nights across the UK and Europe. Carving out a unique sound between the psychedelic trance and breakbeat genres, Hedflux has lined up along side some of the artists that have inspired him the most.

Hedflux won a lot of new fans at Luminate last year and we look forward to his return in 2012.
