A-nophotoFrom a lineage of medical doctors turned black sheep (Wholistic Chiropractor), learn about the true spectrum of health and where all types of medicine fit in their proper places. Learn about the pitfalls, myths, and truths from all sides of medicine, where each side succeeds and where each side fails.

Understand your options and make better choices for you and your loved ones.

Dr. Shay comes from a family of medical doctors, but he chose a different route to heal patients naturally without drugs or surgery. He did his pre-medical training at University of California at Santa Cruz. He earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic as well as two more Bachelor's degrees, one in Health & Wellness and the other in Human Anatomy. Dr. Shay also had the rare honour of teaching board reviews at six chiropractic colleges in the US to younger students, educating them in basic sciences and clinical sciences to assist them in passing their national registration exams.

Dr. Shay has earned advanced Diplomat in clinical neurology from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (ACNB),. Dr. Shay is also a Fellow of the American College of Functional Neurology.

Dr. Shay specializes in reducing the harmful affects of stress on a person's health and nervous system through removing the toxicities and deficiencies accrued in the 3 main areas of health: Structure, Chemistry, and the Mind. Dr. Shay has studied over two dozen chiropractic techniques to resolve structural stressors, studied nutrition for over 10 years, and has done extensive work on understanding practical methods to reduce mental/emotional stressors. Not limited to the spine, Dr. Shay has completed extensive post-graduate training in extremities (arms & legs), neurology, nutrition, detoxification, cranials, chronic diseases, physiology, muscular adhesions, and clinical anatomy. Dr. Sam Shay, DC is shifting his practice to Wellington in early 2012.
