Luminate Festival Volunteer Crew 2015

Still vibrating with positivity from my experience at Luminate 2015! The friendships formed and memories engrained continue to ripple through my life all the way across the globe. Having attended and volunteered at festivals around the world, I can say that Luminate is definitely one of the brightest lights! Clear intentions, warm connections, and an incredibly cohesive gathering created a truly unique and inspiring experience. What an amazing volunteer crew & family of people that come together to organize this event! Top-notch! Already planning our return for 2017 and eagerly looking forward to reuniting with our Luminate friends! Thank you! - Joshua Paigen (Colorado, USA)

Uday Volunteering 2015

Uday with Ganga Giri 2015

I had reached Luminate festival with no expectations, just with a desire to contribute to clean environmental goals of the festival. I had no idea that this festival experience was going to be one of the best things which happened to me in the recent past. I was part of eco-amenities team which slowly turned into a family over the course of the festival. It was not only me, but the entire team, was overwhelmed with love, respect and appreciation for the work we did. Sustainability and environmental ethos did not only belong to the team and the organisers but to all the participants who acted responsibly and made our work so much easier. Along with the work, I was able to relish the wide range of musical performances and international DJ acts. The live stage always witnessed a higher level of energy and workshops were diverse, relaxing and stimulating. Every corner, be it the dance floor, drum circle or the camping grounds, was filled with smiling faces. All I could witness was gratitude and happiness for being part of such a beautiful event. My favourite moment was meeting the band Gangagiri during some work backstage. I have been following their music for years and meeting the band in person was one of the moments I cherish the most. - Uday Pratap Singh 2015
