The Roald Dahl Show by Nick Duval-Smith, Teller of Tales - Nick Duval-Smith

Do you know how Roald Dahl ended up in Africa? Inspired by these adventures, he wrote poems about Dirty Beasts! And what about your favourite Roald Dahl books? One of Dahl’s favourite things was confectionary, I will have you know. I shall tell you about all this and more… Come along and settle in for some wonderful tales and scary stories!

Suitable for: all ages

Duration: 35 minutes

Presenter: Nick Duval-Smith

Bio

Nick Duval-Smith learned the art of storytelling in a Rudolf Steiner kindergarten in Dunedin, over a seven year period. During that time he also attended a storytelling workshop run by the International School of Storytelling (UK), and Duval-Smith himself has run a number of storytelling workshops for adults, both in Dunedin and Auckland. During 2016 he toured Aotearoa with his family in a small caravan, presenting The Roald Dahl show, a half hour performance of poems and stories interspersed with biographical details, in public libraries.
