Tickets Luminate 2012

How to buy Tickets to Luminate:

Tickets can be bought from all stores (see below) until Friday 3rd February 5.30pm. If you leave it to the last minute the shop may have sold out of its allocation, in which case you may still be able to buy a ticket at the gate*.

Online tickets are available to buy until Monday 30th January at midnight.

Gate sales will be available from Wed 1st Feb 10am - 6th Feb 1pm, unless full capacity is reached.

No tickets will be issued or admission possible after 1pm Monday 6th Feb.

Admission is limited to 3000 people.

Brief Overview of Festival Dates:

Luminate Festival 2012 runs for eight days and nights, Wed 1st - Wed 8th February.

Wed 1st Feb: The first day is an early arrival day only, to set up camp and settle in, with no activities running.

Thursday 2nd Feb: Workshops, market, healing hub open 10am. Most music zones open 10pm.

Friday 3rd Feb: Live Stage opens 11am. All zones open.

Saturday 4th / Sunday 5th Feb:  All zones open.

Monday 6th Feb: All zones open, Live Stage closes at midnight.

Tues 7th Feb - Wed 8th Feb: Extended workshops, forums, and two music zones open.

Wed 8th Feb: Festival closes sunset. Campers must leave by midday 9th Feb.

Most people arrive for the beginning of the festival. If you can only arrive at the weekend, there are several options available, (at the gate from Saturday onwards).  See below for pricing.

Ticket Prices:

Early Bird tickets are sold out.

Full Festival Standard Ticket: (available from all ticketting outlets or at the gate*).

Standard Price (Adult): $185: Admission valid from Wed 1st Feb, 10am.

Youth (14-17 yrs): $85: Admission valid from Wed 1st Feb, 10am.

Children 13 and under, and Seniors over 75, gain free admission, no ticket required.

Special Weekend Passes: (only available from Eventfinder or at the gate *).

Long Weekend (Adult): $155: Admission valid from Saturday 4th Feb, 8am.

Long Weekend (Youth): $70: Admission valid from Saturday 4th Feb, 8am.

Late Arrival (Adult): $135: Admission valid from Sunday 5th Feb, 8am.

Late Arrival (Youth): $55: Admission valid from Sunday 5th Feb, 8am.

Day Passes:

Day passes are not generally possible. The only option is a gate sale ticket available on Monday 6th Feb (Waitangi Day) for $85 Adult and $40 Youth. With this ticket you are welcome to enjoy the festival until Wed 8th Feb.

Gate Sales:

* There is an additional $10 admin charge on all adult prices and an additional $5 admin charge on all Youth prices when tickets are bought at the gate, (other than on 6th Feb).

Terms and Conditions for admission:

All Youth tickets require proof of age (photo I.D.) and all Youth must be accompanied by an adult guardian attending the festival.

Proof of age and/or identity may be required for adults and seniors.

Damaged/torn tickets will not be accepted.

In the interestes of safety, vehicles may be searched at the gate.

Valid wristbands must be worn and be visible at all times, and must be shown if requested by Security.

Any persons found on site without a valid wristband and ticket may be served a trespass notice and may be prosecuted.

The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission.

You agree to take full responsibility for yourself and your belongings, and to pack out everything that you bring in, including any rubbish generated.

Any part of the schedule may change without notice.

No admission is possible after 1pm Monday 6th Feb.
