Making a dream web - Dream catchers by Jessica Groen
This workshop will include a brief explanation of dream catchers history, and we will exploring their use and meaning. What are they about? How do they work? How do our thoughts during the creation process impact the dream catchers final and primary function?
Learn how to harvest vines and branches to make the external frame of the dream catcher and how to weave your own web. Then create ideas for the decoration, observe others, use beads and natures gifts to give it power and purpose.
By the end of the workshop, you will have completed your own dream catcher, with your own intentions and energy. The possibilities to create are endless.
Koha to help Jessica pay for the material.
Jessica Groen: I grew up in portugal and have been selling crafts in markets since I was a little girl. I have done this workshop several times at markets and festivals and taught many how to weave and complete their own dream catchers and how to make hair braids and wind chimes.
I work well with people and often participate in projects with children, including several volunteer stages at different Waldorf schools (Steiner).
